Transforming Ship Recycling with Global Collaboration and Technological Advancements

At Circular Maritime Technologies (CMT) International, we are thrilled to share several groundbreaking developments as we continue our journey toward revolutionizing the ship recycling industry. Our mission to dismantle large ships sustainably and efficiently is gaining global recognition, and our latest updates highlight the progress we’ve made with cutting-edge technology and international partnerships.

Sojitz Corporation Partnership: A Major Milestone

We are proud to announce that Sojitz Corporation, a leading global player from Tokyo, Japan, has officially joined CMT International as a partner. Sojitz’s expertise in logistics and connections within the Japanese shipping industry will play a pivotal role in accelerating our development. Their involvement strengthens CMT’s ability to provide the most effective solution for the end-of-life ships, aligning with both environmental and industrial needs. This collaboration is a major step forward for the future of sustainable maritime operations.

CMT Pilot Yard in the Netherlands: Moving Ahead

CMT International is excited to share updates on the development of the CMT Pilot Yard in the Netherlands. This pilot project will be a 25% scale model of a full CMT yard, built on a 60,000m² site and capable of processing 300,000 LDT of ships per year. The yard will produce 250,000 metric tons of top-quality steel scrap annually, making it a commercially viable and sustainable solution for ship recycling. This project is crucial as it will demonstrate the effectiveness of our Diacutron technology in a real-world environment. The pilot yard is designed to operate safely for both humans and the environment, providing an exemplary model for future CMT sites worldwide.
